Ruina Nueva of Dominican origin is a young new concept within the rhythm of the salsa world. Although the name seems a paradox, to the four members and its creator, it is a reflection of their new music.

Ruina Nueva’s producer and composer Jorge Grullón integrates the authentic style of Salsa in the music and lyrics, in terms creating a perfect mixture to appeal to and bridge a new generation of fans.
"Contigo Me Siento Nítido", has been one of the songs most played in 2011 at Supra 101.7 FM one of the premier and most tuned in radio stations of the Dominican Republic.
However, behind great musical stories there is always a protagonists that remains in the heart, the mind and musical tastes of the audiences; these four innovating young men are out to teach the world in a matter of creativity and musical style like no other.
Yabriel Mena, “El cantalindo", known for his romantic voice, and thanks to his musical taste of R&B. According to " El cantalindo", "the feeling of performing with a live band and everyone singing our songs is something Nitido".
Héctor Delgado, known as "La Ley", but not because of his authoritarian name, but because music is law for him, his essence, his religion and music means that "I am the law", he says. Since a very young age, he has been in the performed in urban music scene, but is also a huge admirer of the great interpreters of salsa. He studied business administration, but his passion is in music, "so when presented the opportunity to join the group he did not think twice", he indicated.
Wilkins Morel, known by the other members, as el conquistador, but he describes himself as “I’m a fool not a conquistador; I love music and want to transmit it to the world".
Idris Brito, known as "Frankelly", is seen by his peers as the more reserved one, but when it comes to performing on stage no one can match his swagger. In his native country he has participated with some of the most prominent artist to date such as Lapiz Conciente, Martha Heredia and Vauqero.
Ruina Nueva’s first album "Muy Pop" slated for August 2012, will consist of 10 songs most of Jorge Grullón’s compositions, it is a cover letter introduction revealing their great ability to qualify as a modern day salsa group while blending Urban influences.
