Por razones complicadas, Doña Gloria nunca se llegó a divorciar de su esposo Poncio, and he’s since been declared dead, leaving her free to marry her new love Don Arcesio. The only problem is that he’s actually not dead, and Doña Gloria’s tenants have gone to great lengths to make sure Don Arcesio doesn’t find out. Pero ahora que ha llegado la fecha de la boda, she’ll be married for the second time and be stuck with two husbands!
In case we need a bit more confusion for this mix Pechi and crew were plotting to host a fake wedding, with an impostor priest, so that her new marriage to Don Arcesio would have been a sham. This way, she wouldn’t really be getting married twice… except that the impostor backs out at the last minute. Will Doña Gloria have to be married by a real church official and become an unwilling polygamist with two marriages? ¡Qué desastre!
