Corina and Eric have to be one of the most unique couples I’ve even seen. This Chexican duo definitely beat out last week’s Philippino-Mexican combo for the wackiest pairing of the season so far. The only thing I can say about these two is that they work very well together.

This couple met years ago when they worked together back in Southern California. 28 year-old Eric moved in with his amiga Corina when their company relocated to Nashville, Tennessee. Even though their relationship was strictly platonic at the time, you could say that that move was the start of a beautiful pairing.

By sheer nature, the incredible differences between these two were their greatest obstacles. Her mom is a devout Catholic who insisted in a church wedding for her first-born daughter. His father, who is gravely ill, is a devout Buddhist. What can this couple do to make both sets of parents happy??? To have a church wedding or not to have a church wedding, that is the question...

Ultimately, I think Corina and Eric did a great job of including elements of both cultures into their special day. His traditional Tea Ceremony was a very special touch to the festivities. The only thing I don’t understand about this ceremony to tell you the truth is why Eric’s family just stood around while the bride and groom and some family members ate the special noodles (I hope they weren’t Ramen!). I mean, that just doesn’t happen in a Latin family! The outdoor wedding that included both a Buddhist monk and a priest was priceless!

All in all, I have to say that this couple did a great job of planning a cross country wedding! On top of everything, Corina is one lucky bride! No only did she get a ton of bling during her ceremonies, she also got TWO dresses, and you KNOW she can wear that adorable Chinese dress again!.

What did you think of Corina and Eric’s wedding? Leave us your comments below and congratulate them!
