Caleb Archer

Caleb Archer won the Warriors Collide Championship Belt on January 24, 2009 by defeating Carlos Garcia at Warriors Collide 7, at the War Memorial Auditorium in Ft Lauderdale FL. This is Archer’s second championship belt. Archer won the vacant ISKA Super Light Weight Florida State Title Belt on October 25, 2008 at Back Alley Brawl II.

Archer currently trains at American Top Team. He has been training at ATT for the past two years learning wrestling and Jiu Jitsu to compliment his Thai boxing. He originally learned MuayThai in New York City under Kru Phil Nurse. Nurse is currently UFC Welter Weight Champion George "Rush" St.Pierre’s Thai boxing coach.

Archer started training in Thai boxing when he was fourteen years old. His older brother was training with Nurse for a number of years. Archer found Thai boxing interesting and decided to give it a go himself. Two years later he had his first match.

Archer’s first Championship fight was at Back Alley Brawl II where he won by knock out against challenger Tyler Irwin. Winning by K.O was a great moment for Archer. In his previous wins he had never won by K.O. Archer was questioning his power. He went into the fight with Tyler determined to knock him out. Archer can now put his doubts about his KO power to rest.

Archer turned professional and won his first Mixed Martial Arts fight at a Roy Jones Jr. event in North Lauderdale, FL. The fight was stopped in round one when Archer caught his opponent with two elbows as they were in the clinch. After every fight Archer calls Kru Phil Nurse and talks about the fight. "Phil Nurse has made me a fighter. Now American Top Team is making me a Mixed Martial Arts fighter."
