After living all his life in Puerto Rico, a great job offer brought Alex to Alabama, what he never expected was to find the woman of her dreams and the future mother of his son as well. Heather born and bred in Alabama, fell in love with Alex’s Boricua “sabor” and his Latino family values. Unlike Alex who is the typical kid who grew in a tight Latino family unit, Heather was adopted by her grandparents and never had a relationship with her parents. But this is about to change because their baby boy Xane Alberto Salgado has come to work some miracles. Will Heather be ready to be more accepting and will grandma take this opportunity to both win her daughter’s love and meet her new and only grandson?

With the baby on board, this couple decides to get married one hot Sunday morning and of course Alex takes Heather and the 2 month old baby to see for the first time la isla del encanto, and his whole familia in Puerto Rico. Will Heather and baby Xane fit right in with the whole Puerto Rican crowd as well as Alex has adapted to Alabama? For sure, Heather will learn a lot of Spanish in their first family trip…
