Brittney from Orange County, CA, has decided on "Candyland " as the theme of her Quinceañera, to celebrate her love por los dulces as well as her brand-new braces-free sonrisa! From her black-and-pink vestido to the candy jar centerpieces and decor, todas las decoraciones will relate to candy in some way. For her grand entrada, she will even have a custom-designed candy-themed throne and candyman chambelanes carrying her in.
As a truly bicultural chica, Brittney wants to have a party that will make both her Orange County amigos y su familia Mexicana happy. As always, this is easier said than done. When her mother asks Brittney to make a speech en español in front of all her guests, Brittney rebels and asks all her friends to show up an hour late to the fiesta, so she can spare herself the embarrassment. She also does away with the traditional quinces baile so she and her friends will have more time to party and dance! To make her quinces ultra-special, her mother and her sister have some extra sweet sorpresas, including a very nontraditional transport vehicle and a Grammy-nominated performer!
