Her mother is from Mexico but left her when she was one week old. Ever since, she has been raised both by her father Jorge and her uncle Ariel who she lovingly calls "Tata". Korin entered and won a casting call held by Tr3s and CoverGirl, to find the perfect Quinceañera to be in a glamorous advertorial photoshoot and be featured in the Mis Quince section of Seventeen Magazine. She was given the option to choose between two makeup and wardrobe looks: A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Mardi Gras Gala. In addition, twhichever look she chose, ended up being the theme of her party.
