I couldn’t have asked for a better opportunity. As the BIGGEST Juanes fan out there, being able to attend his Unplugged concert was unreal. Spectacular. Out of this world. Tr3s gave me the opportunity to attend the Juanes concert as a fan blogger – meaning I got to interview all the other Juanes fans who are as crazy as me! As I walked around the line of fans (which wrapped around the building!) waiting to get into the venue, the enthusiasm was palpable. The Tr3s team gave me free reign to ask whatever I wanted, so things might’ve gotten a little weird...
If you could spend the day with Juanes, what would you guys do?
"I’d wake up. We’d go to breakfast, then maybe to the mall to buy some new kicks. I’m rolling with Juanes, you know, so I’d have to look fresh. Later that night we’d hit up the club. I might as well take advantage, Juanes would definitely attract pretty girls. After the party is that after party, so we’ll go from there!" – Omar
"Go to dinner. I know he’s a married man, but I’d definitely ask him to sing to me afterwards." – Sofia
"Spend the day on the beach in Colombia and have a romantic lunch. Later he’d build us a fire pit and serenade me with his music" – Melissa
"Play the guitar. I grew up on him. He’s the reason I play the guitar today. To play with him would be unreal." – Diego
What is Juanes’ sexiest body part?
"His hair. Those luscious locks are the envy of the industry!" – Paul, a very bald man.
"His hands. The fact that they play such beautiful music makes them even sexier." – Ashley
"His eyes. You can tell how passionate he is about his music when he’s singing by just looking at them." – Sheryl
If you could ask Juanes ONE thing, what would it be?
"Do you regret all the fame?" – Kim
"How often do you Google yourself? What do you think about the results?" – Brittany
"What would you do if you had a time machine?" – Fiorella
Once the Tr3s team started letting fans into the theatre, we stampeded in like a herd of bulls in Pamplona. As luck would have it, I ended up sitting on the stage right behind the drummer! I had the perfect view of the back of Juanes’ beautiful head. I could also see Juan Luis Guerra conducting from the top of the venue, which was amazing! The concert began and I sang along to every single one of his songs at the top of my lungs. In the middle of the concert, I had a dreadful realization. In all my excitement I had skipped dinner! Around 10 o’clock I think the drummer heard my stomach grumbling and he gave me a granola bar! I wanted to cherish it forever but I was too hungry. At least I have the memories! Until next time, parceros!
